Fern with Dots Clear Glass All-Purpose Goblets by Beatriz Ball - Set of 4

Etched fern fronds and a dotted border decorate the generous bowls of these clear all-purpose goblets. A substantial stem gives the six-inch form a settled outline for wine, water or a favorite nonalcoholic drink. The set of four brings botanical detail to the table without adding a color that needs to be matched elsewhere.

“The fern engraving is a lovely reason to keep the rest of a place setting simple. I like clear water or a pale drink here, where the little fronds and dots remain easy to see.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Maker / Heritage

Cuban-born designer Beatriz Ball began working with metal artisans outside Mexico City in 1991. Her signature metalware is still made one piece at a time in the brand’s own foundry in Mexico: sand casting gives the forms their character, and successive hand-polishing stages bring out the alloy’s silvery luster. More than twelve pairs of hands take part in the making. The appeal is that combination of expressive shape and useful purpose, with the warmth of handwork and none of silver’s routine tarnish polishing.
